The Celtics have plenty of offensive punch, 13th in the NBA in scoring, fifth in assists, and recently got better with the addition of guard Isaiah Thomas. Rookie guard Marcus Smart, who has started the last six games, had 16 points the last game for his second-highest total of the season, so this is an interesting and talented young three-guard attack for Boston. The Celtics are on a 5-1 ATS run and 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games. By contrast, the Lakers are a mess at 30th in points allowed, losing seven in a row, and are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games. Coach Byron Scott has used nine different lineups and he wasn't happy with the one he used in his club's seventh straight loss, 114-105 at home to Brooklyn on Friday.
