The Dallas Mavericks made some moves to position themselves to compete all the way to the Western Finals and beyond. Caron Butler and Brendon Haywood have given them 26 points per game and 13 rebounds per game in the 14 games since the trade. The Mavericks are 13-1 in the 14 games, so the trade appears to have upgraded a good team to a very good one. Boston started the season on the fast track, but it looks like they aged overnight, and the winning consistency has become sporadic. The Celtics are just barely a .500 team over their last 40 games at 21-19 and more importantly, just 5-15-1 ATS vs. teams with a winning percentage of over .600, while the Mavs are a perfect 6-0 ATS vs. teams with a road winning percentage of over .600. I'll go with Dallas here.
