Boston at Dallas

Something isn't right in Beantown. The Celtics are coming off a ridiculously embarrassing game here. How will they react? Boston was favored by 11.5 points and lost by 33, giving up 150 points. It was the sixth straight time the C's allowed more than 100 points and during that span they have allowed an average of 138 points per game. Meanwhile, the Mavs have won seven straight coming into this one thanks to Luka Doncic. Luka is playing so well this season he could very well win MVP AND most improved player. I won't waste your time recapping what he's been doing but suffice it to say, Boston is not looking forward to facing him right now. The Mavs are 15-5 this season at home where they play decent defense. Dating back to last season, Dallas is 29-9 straight-up in this building when facing good shooting teams like the Celtics (teams hitting 46%+ from the field). They are also 14-2 here over that span when the total is 220 or higher. As good as Boston has been, they are a money burner on the moneyline as a favorite (dropping over 46 units since last season in that role). Under Jason Kidd, the Mavs are 33-18 straight-up in the -155 to +135 moneyline range and 25-10 straight-up when the total is set high at 220 or greater. Back Dallas for the mild upset here.
