If you look at this Portland team, they are built for defense. Finishing up last season, they went over 93 points just three times in their last 12 games. Two of those were to Houston, the same team that put 100+ on them this year, so there are some matchup problems there. Otherwise only Denver, a high-flying offense, reached as many as 97. The Hawks have apparently come out offensive averaging 110 points per game, but they have played three games against up-tempo teams, so there is a false reading on this team. If you look back at last year against .500 or better teams, the Hawks reached 100 points just once on the road vs. Denver, and only reached 90 in three other games. They spent the bulk of the time in the 70s and 80s in nine out of 13! This total is bumped up by the Hawks start against fast-paced teams, but the reality is that this one won't play like those three. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
