We have the highest scoring team in the league vs. the second lowest scoring team in the league. Blowout right? Not exactly. After running off 17 straight wins Phoenix, has hit a bit of a lull, losing two of their last five but covering just three of their last eight. Atlanta has been playing their best basketball of the season as they are 8-7 over their last 15 games. Atlanta went through a stretch of losing eight of nine games on the road by double digits and looked like the worst team in the NBA. Atlanta has righted the ship and have now out-scored teams on the road overall in their last six games to win four of them. Phoenix has not done as well as you may think against the lowest scoring teams in the league. They have had four home games against the league’s five worst offenses and won by five, six, nine and 23 points. They have had six games at home vs. the eight teams in the NBA with a scoring margin of -3 per game or worse. They have won those games by 5, 6, 9, 11, 12 and 23 points. We see just one time when the Suns have covered a line this high vs. the worst teams in the league. Atlanta is a team that doesn't score and has played five games against the top five scoring teams in the league and has averaged losing by 2.2-ppg and only once have they been out-scored by more than the 12 points posted for this game. Atlanta is playing better. Phoenix is in a bit of a lull and all the numbers point toward Atlanta so we will ride the huge points in this one.
