Atlanta at New York

The Atlanta Hawks have been playing at a very high level for most of the season, with the key word being "most." The Hawks can only wonder where they would be if they didn't go through a woeful 11-game stretch that saw them go 1-10. The good news is they are 22-7 otherwise and have to be considered one of the elite 3 or 4 teams in the NBA East. The New York Knicks reloaded their roster bringing in Derrick Rose and Courtney Lee, but the big issue here seems to be a lot of selfish players with talent, with little team chemistry. The Knicks are just 18-23 on the season at the halfway marker and don't seem to be much closer to the playoffs than last year's 32-50 team. Atlanta is playing very well and should have little problems here dispatching the Knicks. Make the play on Atlanta.
