Atlanta at Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves have really struggled trying to put together a playoff-caliber team. This team last went to the playoffs in 2005 and has not had a winning season since, despite drafting in the lottery almost annually. They are in a tough spot here as they had to travel to play at Oklahoma City on Christmas Day and come home on less than 24 hours rest to take on Atlanta. The T-wolves are just 9-21 on the season, and playing as a home dog since 2005 they are a woeful 88-151-5 ATS. Atlanta has shaken off the doldrums of a seven-game losing streak to go 5-3 in their last eight. One of those losses was at home to Minnesota, so I think it is payback time tonight.
