The Indiana Pacers had a great start, but an awful finish to their NBA season. Many thought that once the playoffs started this team would settle their differences, but it simply did not happen. They continued their poor play in game one, losing as a #1 seed to #8 seed Atlanta. Indiana closed the regular season at 10-14 in their last 24 games - the worst mark ever for a #1 seed over that length of a stretch. The Pacers have played well below the line, and remain a seriously over-valued team. They are just 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 games, 2-12 ATS at home in their last 14, and 0-7 ATS at home in their last seven vs. a team with a losing road record. Atlanta is lucky to be here, but at the same time they won game one. They have some glue on their team while Indiana is coming apart at the seams. The Hawks are playing very well at 6-0 ATS in their last six. This one looks close, so take the points and back Atlanta.
