Atlanta at Dallas

The Dallas Mavericks made a splash by acquiring Rajon Rondo from the Celtics, which in addition to giving them the facilitator they depertely needed, Rondo is also the top rebounding guard in the NBA. They don't need him to score because they have plenty of scorers on the floor, and he has a knack for getting the ball in the right places, which is going to make Dallas a title contender. Atlanta has gotten off to a good start at 19-7, but odds makers say this game is a wash outside of home court and I disagree. The West is better than the East and has been for quite some time, and Atlanta is just 82-104-4 ATS against the West on the road since 2001, and just 23-37 ATS when their opponent is over .600. Their recent track record vs. the West is even more pronounced at 5-13 ATS in their last 18. The Mavs are 54-25 ATS in their last 79 following a spread loss. Take Dallas in this one.
