Stick a fork in the Hawks! Few believed this was really a No. 1 seed coming into the playoffs, and the bubble has burst quickly against Cleveland, losing the first two at home...and badly. On the surface, they excelled all year against a weak Eastern Conference. Below the surface, however, we see the real truth. Atlanta has scored 82, 94, 89, and 82 points the last four games. Teams are taking away the room that Jeff Teague has to work with which limits his ability to drive and pass the basketball. Atlanta was so successful much of the season with Teague as playmaker, but now fewer opportunites are there and the Hawks are unable to find an adjustment that works. In Game 2 he had 12 points and 6 assists on 5-of-16 shooting. The Cavs have now held their last four opponents to 22% from beyond the arc. The Hawks shot 6-of-26 from three-point land at home in Game 2 and now head out on the road. In addition, they have injuries piling up. Atlanta is on a 5-11-1 ATS run, and 4-9-1 ATS against a team with a winning record. Meanwhile, the Cavs are 8-3 ATS versus the Southeast Division, they are home playing team-oriented, winning basketball led by the best player in the NBA. Play the Cavaliers in Game 3.
