The road certainly has not been kind to the Atlanta Hawks this season where they are just 9-15 on the season. On a more positive note, all nine wins have come against a team that is .500 or less on the season. Chicago seems to have given up hope with Derrick Rose out for the season, as they then traded Luol Deng and those are two pieces difficult to replace. Atlanta has had trouble scoring, but the Bulls' offense has been even worse as they have managed just 87.5 points per game in their last eight contests, so I expect this one to be a very defensive game. Defense has typically been the case between these teams, as the last six meetings overall have played UNDER the total. Each of the last six that have been played in Chicago have also failed to reach the total. The Bulls are also 25-10 to the UNDER in their last 35 at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. Chicago may be home here, but the Bulls have been an ugly 5-16-1 ATS in their first home game off a seven day or longer road trip. Take Atlanta and play the UNDER in this one.
