Atlanta at Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Nets were expected to be an even better team this season than the playoff team they were last year with a healthy Brook Lopez in the middle, but it has yet to materialize. The Nets are off to a subpar 8-9 start, and are also a big emotional win in overtime vs. the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs. Atlanta has everything going right now and their current 6-1 run has them at 11-6 to start the season. The Hawks have found some chemistry on offense where they continue to punish opponents as they have reached the century mark in six straight games. That is a terrific sign for this team as Atlanta owns an 8-3 ATS record in their last 11 when following a game where they went for 100 points or more. The Nets at 1-6 ATS in their last seven at home vs. a team with a losing road record. The Hawks are hot right now, so make the play on Atlanta.
