Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings

Golden State is in revenge mode after being embarrassed in the last meeting losing by 30 points to the Kings on Jan. 5. Sacramento shot 52 percent and hit 19 of 43 3-point tries in that blowout. The Warriors also have another reason to redeem themselves as they were trounced by Boston on Monday, snapping a two-game win streak. Golden State has covered four of the past five road meetings against the Kings, who are 1-4 ATS their past five games versus Pacific Division opponents. The Warriors still have a better 3-point shooting percentage in 2024-25 than the Kings, but the Warriors went cold against the Celtics finishing 14-for-53 from beyond the arc. Surprisingly this is the first meeting of the season and Golden State comes into the game on a two-game win streak with victories over Philadelphia and Memphis and covering both. Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points and the Warriors beat the Grizzlies last night 121-113 even without Stephen Curry, who was rested. Sacramento has won three straight following a six-game losing streak, which cost coach Mike Brown his job. The Kings still are 1-7 ATS their past eight games following an ATS win and they are on a 2-8 ATS run. Sacramento is 6-12 ATS against the Western Conference. The Kings beat Memphis 138-133 on Friday and it soared OVER by 29 points. The Warriors have gone OVER two in a row and they are 6-0 OVER as home favorites of 0.5-4.5 points. Each of the past three meetings has been decided by one point so getting any points is valuable in this matchup. Sacramento won the last two, 124-123 on Nov. 28, and 134-133 on Jan. 25. Golden State is just 1-5 ATS its past six games and the Kings are 6-3 ATS their past nine, including a 121-82 annihilation of Portland on Sunday. De'Aaron Fox scored 24 points and the Kings jumped out to a 65-37 halftime lead against the Trail Blazers, who were held to 32 percent shooting. Sacramento has covered five of seven as a 0.5-4.5 point underdog and 10-4 ATS overall playing with one day of rest and it needed the Portland blowout for momentum heading into the Play-In tournament after losing by a point to Phoenix two nights before.
