The Memphis Grizzlies were missing Ja Morant for a long time last season, and it certainly showed as they managed just 27 wins on the season. He makes a huge difference in this team as they are out of the gate a promising 4-3. The Grizzlies are off impressive wins over the 76ers, and Bucks by a combined 40 points. The Nets were a 50 loss team last season, and I don't see their fortunes changing much this season, because they don't play defense and have allowed better than 115ppg on the season. Here is why that is a problem. when a team gives up 115 or more points so far this year they are 24-60 SU and 25-59 ATS. Not getting behind that. Make the play on Memphis.

Memphis has had an injury riddled season, mixed with a rebuild, and the Grizzlies playoff opportunities vanished quite some time ago. The Brooklyn Nets have promoted former UConn standout Kevin Ollie to interim-coach. The Brooklyn offense has really been bad the last few games. The Nets have combined to shoot less than 38% in their last three games and have not reached 100 points in any of them. They should find some open looks tonight vs. a Memphis team that has been poor right from the start of the season without Ja Morant. Memphis comes in at 2-10 SU in their last 12 games, and I think the nets show something to their new Coach tonight. Make the play on Brooklyn.
