Ovince Saint Preux vs. Alonzo Menifield

37-year old Ovince Saint Preux has lost four of his last six fights. Age appears to be a factor, off a lackluster loss to Ben Rothwell in May. That was in the Heavyweight division, and Saint Preux moves back to the UFC Light Heavyweight division for this bout. He's not a very good striker (2.60 significant strikes per minute) with a 46% accuracy. He'll have to fight this one standing up as he's not good at takedowns. And his opponent, Alonzo Menifield, does a terrific job at defending takedowns (85% takedown defense). Saint Preux is decent defensively, absorbing a little more punishment than he dishes out taking 2.91 strikes per minute, but Menifield will be a handful at 9-1 in MMA action with a winning UFC record. He's also the better puncher (3.75 significant strikes per minute) and is five years younger. Take Alonzo Menifield to win the fight.
