Brendan Allen was originally supposed to fight Ian Heinisch, but Heinisch was forced to pull out because of a recent injury. 27-year Kyle Daukaus was called in to replace Heinisch to make his UFC debut. This won't be a battle of punchers, as both like to grapple rather than stand up. This is a big jump up for Daukaus, and on short notice. 24-year old Brendan Allen is a talented up-and-coming young fighter, winning six in a row. He's 2-0 in UFC with a first-round win over Tom Breese and a second-round submission victory over Kevin Holland. His ground game is very good, averaging 2.68 takedowns per 15 minutes, along with 4.46 submission attempts. Take the younger, more experienced UFC fighter against the stand-in. Back Brendan Allen to win the fight.
