35-year old Nicolas Dalby is favored but just 2-2-1 under the UFC banner. He's also lost two of his last three UFC bouts. Dalby has a poor significant strikes accuracy percentage of 38% and is averaging just 1.80 takedowns for an accuracy percentage of 45 percent. He has a karate background but faces a puncher in Jesse Ronson, who is on a 6-2 run to get a return to the UFC. Ronson fought tough competition in his UFC days and lost all three bouts in tight split decisions, so he wasn't thrown out for fighting poorly. He's an excellent striker who has a boxing and kickboxing background, and he was very accurate with his strikes in his previous UFC stint. He will work to make this fight standing up so he can utilize his power. Four of his last eight victories have come via knockout, and he showed excellent ground work in his last bout over Troy Lamson, fighting off several submission attempts to eventually get a first-round submission victory. Ronson matches up well, is younger than Dalby, and is fighting for a new contract. Back Jesse Ronson to win the bout.
