The Washington Nationals rebuild has made some progress. The Nats have not lost a game by more than a run since June 13. This team has some things taking them up the hill and slowly getting better.. The Padres have run hot and cold all season, and after losing five straight games they have come back to win five out of their past six. The odds are typing against any San Diego stability, as ups and downs are short lived. The Padres will go with Adam Mazur and he has not fared well in his first four big league dcisions this season. Opponents have averaged six runs per game against him, with no fewer than four runs allowed in all of them. I like Washington in this one.
