Alex Cobb will make his third start for the Giants, and they lost his last one on April 19 when he gave up four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Mets. Cobb has been on the injured list (groin) and missed about 10 days. The right-hander was a slow starter last year when he had a 7.16 ERA and .329 opponent batting average in April.
