Washington at Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates started the season at 9-2 and looked to be an early surprise, but they quickly fell off, and currently reside in the basement of the NL Central at 66-74 on the season. That is still better than the Nationals 62-78 mark as neither team will be in the post-season. The Pirates opened the series last night with a rather comfortable 9-4 win, and they have some momentum, having won three of their last four games. The Nationals are just 24-39 in their last 63 games. Most recently, Washington won just one of their last six games, where the pitching staff allowed just shy of seven runs per contest. The Nats struggled on the road during the 24-39 run, when they were 9-21. The Pirates have played better while the Nats road woes continue. Make the play on Pittsburgh.
