Washington at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has won three of four and shown some hitting prowess. The Pirates defeated Washington, 6-4, on Saturday as Michael Chavis capped a three-hit game with a triple, and the Pirates scored three times in the eighth inning. Patrick Corbin was hit hard his last outing against Atlanta, allowing six runs on nine hits in just 2 2/3 innings, and he now has given up eight runs on 14 hits in 6 2/3 innings this season. Corbin had a bad April last year, too, with an 0-3 record and a 10.47 ERA. Jose Quintana allowed one run on five hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Cubs on Tuesday, and the current Nationals are batting .170 against him. Washington is 15-33 in its last 48 road games.
