The Washington Nationals have had a great and surprising season, but their work is not complete. They hold a four-game advantage over the Braves in the NL East, but won't ease up until the clinching victory takes place. They take on Kyle Kendrick tonight and his pedestrian 10-11 mark on the season. They counter with 3-0 John Lannon, making his fifth start with the only Nat's loss was by a single run. The Nat's sweet spot on the season has been vs. righthanders where they are 43-19 in their last 62 facing one. Lannon has been a good stopper as the Nationals have been 10-4 when he takes the mound following a team loss in his last 14. The Phillies are a troublesome 4-14 in Kendrick's last 18 starts in rotation on four day’s rest. Play on Washington.
