The Philadelphia Phillies continue to play out the string as the season winds down. The Phillies have clinched the best record in the NL and are going through the motions, resting players, and getting their rotation in order. Meanwhile, the Washington Nationals are playing with purpose, and enjoying their best stretch of baseball in September. The Nats are 9-2 in their last 11 games, and have won the first three in this series. Washington, a team that has hovered around or over the 100-loss mark the past several years, would love to finish at .500 and need to finish 4-2 to do it. Roy Oswalt has had a trying season, one that has seen the Phils go just 7-11 in his last 18 starts. The Phillies are now taking the collar with a total set at 7-8.5 where they have dropped five straight, as well as their last four as a chalk from -151 to -200. The Nats have eight straight dog wins and shows extensive value here on the runline, so I'm going with Washington on the runline.
