The Philadelphia Phillies have certainly taken advantage of their rock solid rotation. They have the best record in all of baseball to this point, heading for the home stretch. Cole Hamels is not considered one of their premier starters, but has nonetheless turned in a nice season. He is however, showing some wear and tear of late. Hamels led the Phillies to an 11-3 mark in his first 14 starts, but has since seen them go 5-5 in his last 10 starts. Two of those five wins came by a single run, and each of those in his last two starts. Overall, the Phillies own just a 3-7 mark in his last 10 on the runline. Livan Hernandez did not face the Phillies in all of 2010, but this year has pitched well enough against them to lead them to a 2-1 mark against the +1.5 runline. Play Washington on the runline.
