Philadelphia is making another run at securing a playoff spot as it has won five of seven, including Sunday's 8-4 win over Kansas City after falling behind 3-0 in the first inning. The Phillies stormed back with three home runs, including Nick Castellanos' 17th homer to give the them a 7-4 lead in the fifth. Philadelphia's offense has come alive as it has scored 34 runs its past five games and it will have Ranger Suarez starting tonight and he has given the Phillies five or six solid innings recently, including a 3-1 victory over Miami on Tuesday when he scattered 10 hits and allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings. Trevor Williams is 5-6 with a 4.72 ERA and 1.49 WHIP for Washington and he has given up nine runs and 16 hits in only 10 innings his past two starts. Philadelphia has won 11 of Suarez's past 14 home starts and it has won 39 of the past 54 meetings with the Nationals. Take the Phillies.
