Washington has had a disappointing season after breaking through last year. At this point they need a miracle, as they trail Cincinnati by seven games for the final wildcard spot. The Nationals have been a below .500 team on the road. Jordan Zimmermann has had a great season at 16-8, but his splits show problems on the road. He is 10-3 at home with an ERA of 2.84. Those numbers diminishes to 6-5 on the road, with an ERA more than a run higher at 3.90. He also stands at just 3-5 in 15 career starts vs. the Mets. Dillon Gee has been special down the stretch where he owns a 4-1 record and a 2.02 ERA in his last seven starts. The Nats are just 1-4 in Zimmermann's last five starts when following a quality start in his last turn. Make the play on the Mets.
