The Washington Nationals are quickly establishing themselves as the worst team in baseball once again, and certainly the road adds to their misery. The Nats are 6-15 on the road. Last year the Nats were the worst team on the road in all of baseball at 25-56. The Nats come up short in this matchup on all three counts that make a difference. Their starting pitcher has a higher ERA, and is pitching on the road. Their bullpen leads MLB in blown saves with 12, and is also ranked dead last in both leagues in ERA. The Mets’ bullpen is tops in the National League. That doesn't leave many opportunities for the Nats to pull one off here, so I'll go Mets in this one.
