The Mets have really taken a hit offensively. They have lost a pair of hitters in the middle of their lineup to injuries in David Wright and Ike Davis, who leads the team in RBI. A weak offense has now become weaker and the Mets will be pitching dependent going forward for awhile. The Nats offense has been on the improve, but one glaring weakness remains, their inability to find consistent success vs. lefthand pitching. It has led the Nats to six straight UNDERS vs. southpaws. The Mets own for straight UNDERS facing a pitcher with a WHIP of less than 1.15 and with a shortened lineup without two key ingredients in the middle, less is likely. I like the UNDER in this one.
