Washington at New York

The New York Mets have struggled on the road, but have put together a nice 13-6 home start to the 2010 season. John Maine showed the rust early, but he has been a force in his last few starts, allowing a total of 4 runs in the three games - all Mets wins. Kuis Atilano was lit-up for 6 runs in five innings his last time out, and still has a lot to learn at the big league level. The Nationals also have a long way to go to catch the better teams as they are just 36-95 in their last 131 vs. a team with a winning record, including a futile 16-52 mark on the road in that same situation. The Mets are 19-7 behind Maine as a home favorite. I'll side with the Mets here.
