Davis hit the winning sacrifice fly to give the Mets their eighth straight win. The Mets improved to 34-20 at home, and they now have beaten Washington six times in a row. The Mets are 21-5 their last 26 games overall and 11-1 their last 12 home games. Jacob deGrom goes today, and he owns a 2.77 ERA and hasn't given up more than three runs his last 14 games.
