The 2019 version of the Amazin' Mets did it again on Friday night! Todd Frazier belted a tying, three-run homer and then Michael Conforto lined a game-winning single to erase a 6-3 deficit and defeat the Nationals for the fifth straight time this season. It was the seventh win in a row for New York and its 21st win in 28 games. The Mets have won nine of their last 11 home games versus left-handed starters and seven of Noah Syndergaard's last nine starts and he has allowed only seven earned runs his last five starts in 35 1/3 innings pitched. Also, Washington's hitters are batting only .179 against Syndergaard this year in 20 innings pitched. Patrick Corbin gave up five runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings his last outing at Arizona and he has a 5.32 ERA on the road. Take the Mets.
