The New York Mets will send Dillon Gee to the mound for his first start in 2012. Gee took the NL by storm a year ago, as he unexpectedly led the Mets to a 10-0 mark in his first 10 starts. The rest of the league quickly caught up to him and from that point on the Mets were just 7-10 when he took the ball, including just 4-6 at home. Gee's ERA after the All-Star break was just 5.93. The Nationals have made some strides, and for a team that rarely won on the road, they have now gone 10-1 in their last 11 road games as a dog. The Mets struggled against left-hand pitching down the stretch a year ago, and are 4-9 in their last 13 against them. Play on Washington.
