Washington at Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins are a small market team, and dependent on good drafts, and making the right decisions. That typically goes on and off. Last year the Twins finished with 102 losses, and they are out of the gate at 11-8. They have a great opportunity to expand on that as they open a series at home vs the 5-13 Washington Nationals. There is little doubt this season is going to be a trying one for Washington. They have shed a lot of payrolls and are still in the beginning part of rebuilding. Washington is a young fragile team that is coming off 2 straight shutout losses. I like Minnesota.
