Washington at Milwaukee

Milwaukee was a victim of three straight final inning at bats by Philadelphia which all resulted in 7-6 losses. The offense has done its part, but the pitching has let them down. Tonight they have the luxury of Yovani Gallardo on the hill to stop the bleeding. Gallardo is a top-of-the-rotation pitcher that got off to a poor start that left the Brewers 3-6 through his first nine starts. He has been good since and Milwaukee has been 8-3 in his last 11 starts, winning his last four home starts. Washington has great starting pitching, the weakest of which is Edwin Jackson. Jackson has a losing record for a winning team and his road ERA tops the 4 mark, where the Nationals are a dreadful 2-8 in his last 10 road starts.
