Washington at Milwaukee

Milwaukee looks to even the series after losing 4-1 to the Nationals on Friday night and the Brewers still lead the NL Central by 7 1/2 games while Washington is 22-35 on the road and trying to stay out of last place in the NL East. The Nationals have lost six of their past seven versus left-handed starters and they're up against Eric Lauer today and he has come on strong in July and August as he has allowed only six runs in 29 1/3 innings the last two months. Paolo Espino has been clobbered his last nine appearances allowing 25 runs on 44 hits in 35 2/3 innings. Espino gave up five runs on eight hits in four innings his last time out against Atlanta on Sunday. Milwaukee is 38-13 its past 51 games versus teams with losing records and it has won 40 of 59 as a favorite. Play the Brewers.
