Washington at Miami

The Miami Marlins are going to be an underdog in just about every game they play early in the season. They had a disasterous 2013 after unloading all their high priced free agents that fizzled in 2012, but have made progress this season as the team becomes more experienced, and the rotation has some promising youngsters. Jordan Zimmermann has started slowly after a strong 2013, and Miami is a big part of the reason. The Marlins forced the earliest exit of his career the last time they faced him as Zimmermann could not get out of the second inning, allowing five runs on eight hits.  Brad Hand has been good enough to hold opposing hitters to a collective .167 average on the season.
