Washington at Kansas City

Washington won a wild affair on Friday night scoring eight times in the sixth and Luis Garcia went 6-for-6 and the Nationals won 12-10 for their fourth victory in six games. Kansas City fell to 7-20 at home and lost its fifth in seven games. Brady Singer goes tonight for the Royals and he has an ugly 7.48 ERA and 1.64 WHIP and he allowed five runs on seven hits in only 3 2/3 innings against Detroit on Monday. Singer has a .303 opponent batting average at home and in four daytime starts he has given up 19 runs in 19 2/3 innings. Josiah Gray has pitched better than his 4-5 record indicates as he has a sparkling 2.65 ERA overall and 2.21 on the road and the Royals will be seeing him for the first time.
