It's not often we get Max Scherzer as a plus-180 underdog so we have to take advantage as the right-hander is one of the premier pitchers in the majors. Scherzer finished the season with a 2.92 ERA and he has allowed only one run his last 15 innings in the postseason. Scherzer went 7-2 with a 2.64 ERA and .218 opponent batting average on the road and the Astros will be seeing him for the first time this year. The Nationals not only have been stellar in the postseason, but they have been one of the hottest teams in the majors since June. They currently are on a six-game winning streak while giving up just 10 runs in that span. Washington has won 40 of its last 56 overall and it has won 15 of Scherzer's last 18 starts overall and 37 of his last 52 road starts.
