Roy Oswalt and Livan Hernandez are 2 of the best pitchers in the league. Both are constantly up for MVP or Cy Young Balloting status and this year will prove no different as so many have followed this trend. In their first 2 starts, Oswalt went 8 innings and surrendered 0 runs, while Livan surrendered 3 runs in 6 innings in a game that totaled just 5runs against the Mets in a showdown with Tom Glavine. Bottom line is these are 2 under pitchers and given the strength of their bullpens and lack of offense as it is, the under is a strong play. Besides the under is 4-0 in Oswalt's last 4 starts versus the Nationals and the under is 8-2 when Oswalt goes on the mound and the Astros are favored by more than -150. This is not to mention that the under is 5-0-1 for Hernandez when facing a winning team and the under is 4-1 when his team goes in to a ball game as an underdog. Thus, given the capacity of these pitchers, the lack of their respective offense with solid bullpens on both ends, let's take the under 7.5.
