The Colorado Rockies are an improved team, mainly because they have their top two hitters are back in the lineup after they both suffered an injury-riddled 2012 season. The Rockies still have some issues on the mound. The biggest of those issues has been Jeff Francis. For four years Francis was at the top of the Rockies' rotation and produced a 47-34 mark, but he has since fallen off the map, going 22-43 over his last 65 decisions. His ERA this year is a career-worst 6.30. Ross Detwiler has pitched well with a 2.76 ERA on the season and has become a bonafide team stopper as the Nationals are now 10-2 in their last 12 when he takes the ball off a loss. The Rockies are a painful 1-5 in Francis' last six starts, and lose the edge at home as well, where they are 0-4 in his last four starts at home. Take Washington.
