Washington at Colorado

Coors Field comes with many challenges for an opposing team. It is built for offense, and does not seem to discriminate between good pitchers and bad. Washington was considered the best team in baseball prior to the season, but it just hasn't worked out that way. Tight now the Nationals are playing their worst baseball of the season, having lost six straight games, and have fallen under the .500 mark.  Jordan Zimmermann is a product of what has happened to this team, as he has made four quality starts in a row without a win, and has not recorded a win since July 11th. The Nats are going to need some offense here, and they are 0-7 in their last seven when following a game in which they scored 2 or fewer runs. The Rockies won't make it easy tonight, and the odds are defying the state of this Washington team right now. Back the home dog Rockies.
