Washington at Colorado

Colorado is glad to be home after losing four road games in a row while the Nationals will be playing their first road game after a 1-5 homestand. Kyle Freeland pitched six scoreless innings on three hits against San Diego as the Rockies won 4-1 on Friday. Washington starter Josiah Gray got hit hard against Atlanta one day later allowing five runs on seven hits in five innings and the Nationals' bullpen has a 4.74 ERA while giving up 13 runs on 20 hits in six games. Washington has lost 35 of 52 road games and the Nationals are 16-47 in the first game of a series and 14-42 overall against left-handed starters. Colorado has won four of the past five meetings at Coors Field. Play the Rockies.
