Bronson Arroyo has been the brightest spot this year in the Reds Pitching rotation. He has been worth every bit of the millions the front office shelled out for him as he is 5-1 this year with a 2.36 ERA. The Reds play their rubber match with the Washington Nationals today and the Nationals counter with Zach Day. Although Day has an ERA of over 7, he pitched very well the last game. However, the fact remains that the Reds and their powerhouse offense find themselves with the best record in baesball at many points of this season as they are 22-12 this season compared to the Nationals who are the opposite and are just 12-22. Arroyo has pitched spectaclarly of late which includes giving up two runs in 26 innings of ball before the recent loss to the Diamondbacks. Thus, let's take what looks to be like the new ace of the Reds against the Nationals who although get decent pitching, still struggle with the woes on the offensive end.
