Chicago beat the Nationals for the seventh time in a row, including all five meetings this season. Pinch hitter Mike Tauchman had a two-run single in the seventh and the Cubs won 3-1 for an easy UNDER. The wind will be blowing in from right-center at seven mph for today's game. The Cubs have won four of six as they try to end their season on a high note although they are all but eliminated from postseason contention. Chicago has won five of Kyle Hendricks' past six starts and Washington has lost five straight while scoring more than one run once in that span. The UNDER is 6-1 when Hendricks starts with five days rest and he has allowed only five runs in 15 1/3 innings his past three outings, including a 6-2 victory over Colorado on Sunday when he gave up one run on two hits in six innings.
