Washington at Baltimore

The surprising Orioles won again on Saturday beating Washington 7-3 as Andrew Velazquez had two hits, scored twice, and drove in a run. It appears Baltimore's rebuilding project is starting to take hold as it has won seven of its last eight games while being only two games behind the first-place Yankees in the AL East. Meanwhile, the Nationals are in last place in the NL East, and have lost seven of their last 10 games and will try to turn it around with Max Scherzer on the mound. Scherzer faced the Orioles once in 2019 and gave up two runs in 4 1/3 innings. Baltimore swept the Nats last weekend, including winning a suspended game on Friday. Washington is 8-20 its last 28 games versus AL East teams. Take the Orioles.
