Washington at Atlanta

Washington snapped a five-game losing streak with a 11-6 win over the Braves, but the Nationals still are only 9-14 on the road and in last place in the NL East. The 11 runs were almost double what they had scored combined in the previous five games. Atlanta had beaten the Nationals six games in a row before Tuesday's loss and the Braves have veteren Drew Smyly on the mound tonight and he has started two games vs. Washington this season and allowed two earned runs on five hits in 12 innings. Jon Lester has made one road start and gave up five runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings and opposing hitters are batting .295 against him overall. Lester started one game against Atlanta and gave up three runs in five innings. Take the Braves.
