Washington at Atlanta

The Braves have managed to stay on the Phillies’ heels with solid pitching. But they have not fared well of late behind the serves of Tim Hudson, where they are just 4-5 in his last nine starts. Washington is an improved team for sure, and since the beginning of last season Livan Hernandez has pitched admirably with an overall ERA well under the 4 mark. The Nats have bounced back very well after a subpar offensive night as they are now 9-3 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. The same can't be said for the Braves with Hudson on the hill as they have taken the collar at 0-4 the last four starts he has made where they scored 2 or less in their previous game. The Nats have closed the door on the Braves in four of the last five here in Atlanta. Hudson has shown a penchant of late to give it up, and Hernandez has been a solid option for the Nats playing much better. I'll opt for Washington here on the runline.

2 units on Washington PICK runs -140 (runline) (risk 2 to return 2)
