Washington at Atlanta

Washington lost its fourth in a row while getting swept by Philadelphia and things figure to get worse for the Nationals as they travel to Atlanta to face the Braves, who have won three straight and are only 1 1/2 games out of first place in the NL East. Kyle Muller will make his seventh start and he has a 2.43 ERA and .184 opponent batting average and he hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of those games, inclduing an 8-1 victory over Milwaukee on Saturday when he gave up a run on four hits in five innings. Erick Fedde has a 5.09 ERA on the road and he has allowed 10 earned runs on 11 hits in only 6 2/3 innings against Atlanta this year. The Nationals are 5-16 after scoring at least five runs their previous game and Atlanta has won seven of the past nine meetings. Take the Braves.
