The Rangers had a fantastic hot streak winning 12 in a row, but have coooled considerably, losing each of their last two and were shutout in their last contest. The Blue Jays face the unenviable task of competing in the rugged AL East, but have kept their heads above water over the .500 mark and impressively maintaining the same status on the road. The Jays took a lot of hits sticking with Jo Jo Reyes who went 28 starts without a win and suddenly the Jays have won six of his last nine starts. Both Reyes and Lewis are starting to hit their stride, so this inflated total may be based on the whole, but not recent performances. The Jays are taking control of a series and are ready to play at 26-12 in their last 38 series lid-lifters, a place where the Rangers' Colby Lewis has struggled, having led the Rangers to just a 3-9 mark in his last 12 series opener starts. The Jays are now at 6-2 to the UNDER in their last eight road games with a posted total of 9-10.5 as well as playing 4-1 to the UNDER in their last five as a dog. The Rangers are now at 15-6-1 to the UNDER in Lewis' last 22 starts vs. a team with a winning record. And when he has been on extended rest of six days or more, the Rangers have failed to top the total in each of his last seven. The call is on Toronto and the UNDER.
