The Texas Rangers have become a solid team. Not because of their bats, but because of their ability to shut teams down. Lewis has been an instrumental part of that, but he has been a "comfort" pitcher at this stage of his career, doing very well on normal four days of rest, but when he pitches on five days of rest, he has not been so great leading to a 3-13 Rangers’ record when he pitches on five days of rest. Texas has gotten off on the wrong foot of late as well, as they are now 0-6 in series openers. The Jays have been just the opposite, sporting a 20-7 mark in series lid lifters, and have won each of the last four that Drabek has taken the mound. Toronto continues to stay hot in openers and wins this one.
